ed week 9

In class this week we had someone come in and teach us how to use the word press website to create our own website and make changes to it according to how we want our page set up. Then we spent time learning more about dream weaver and creating a website that way. We spent the last hour of class working on and finishing up projects for the term.

ed week 8

This week in class we played around on the hour of code website. We spent an hour playing the different games for coding. We used dream weaver to learn how to enter code into a website. We were also given time to work on some past projects that we may not have finished yet.

ed week 7

In today's class I finished up on my Google maps project. We learned about all the apps that are available to use in the classroom. We found apps that would be suitable for us to use in a lesson and we wrote a lesson to go along with the apps. In the second art of class we designed an app that we could install on our phones for an imaginary school.

ed week 6

In today's class we watched the video projects that we had been working on. We also searched through itunes pod casts and itunes u. we began learning about the pod cast that we will have to do as our next project. I am working on my google map project.

ed week 5

This week in class we worked on finishing up our video project. We also briefly worked on the Google earth project. We discussed what the requirements of the final would be.

ed week 4

In todays class I was able to get the videos that my group and I shot uploaded onto my computer so we could begin editing them next week and finish the project. I also worked on an iPad trailer project where the theme was studying for tests and not procrastinating. During the last part of class we discussed how to make a tour on google maps. I have not decided what my tour will be of just yet. I made sure that the videos from the camera were saved onto my computer so i won't have to continue to recheck the libraries camera.

ed week 3

From todays class I got the chance to refine my photoshop skills and put more of them into practice as I finished my project. I was able to layer my pictures, move an image from one picture to the next, how to properly resize a moved image to fit the background, and how to erase part of one picture without erasing the other. I was able to upload my image to flickr and have it show up on the group page and add a description. In the second part of class I learned about making videos with ivideo and how some of the video cameras work. I have not started work on my video just yet but it is planned out and my group and I have a topic to shoot about.
